Max Harris is the son of neurologist Dr. Ella Harris.
Biography[]
Season 1[]
Reporter Sam Miller is tipped off about Mayor Tom Kane seeing Dr. Harris and attempts to question her. He gets nothing but their meeting is noticed by Kane's staff, who have been tailing Miller. Kane authorizes a gentle warning to be delivered to Dr. Harris through his Chief of Staff Ezra Stone. Stone's man uses a neuromuscular blocker to paralyze the doctor as she goes to pick up Max from a little league game and delivers a chilling reminder of her oath, terrifying her. Max joins her in the car just as she is recovering.[1]
Season 2[]
Tom Kane arranges to see Dr. Harris in secret at her home. He offers to facilitate a move back to Chicago and to arrange for Max to be enrolled in a private school specializing in children with academic difficulties.[2]
