Tina Patterson was an aide to Illinois Senator Catherine Walsh. Privately, she was also Walsh's lover. She was murdered by agents of Mayor Kane to end Walsh's gubernatorial campaign.

She is concerned when Senator Walsh insists on campaigning in Chicago despite her broken leg but Walsh is insistent that she must extend her support into the state capital.[1]
